Toyota Land Cruiser

The 200 Series Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is a new take on a classic. The Heritage Edition debuted in 2020 as the first additional trim option for the Land Cruiser. Previously, it was only available in one trim. The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition was traditionally produced as a large SUV with a five-seat configuration. The latest Heritage Edition, however, also gives consumers the option of getting a bench-style seat for a capacity of eight, which is the seating capacity of the original Land Cruiser. The Heritage Edition is brimming with the latest technology and accessories. It still retains its rugged adventure spirit from years past with features such as a four-wheel drive and a durable exterior. Now, it adds on some additional amenities such as skid plates and a roof rack to better handle the unknown. Its drivetrain is also more complex, with multiple driving modes available and low-range gearing. The Heritage Edition's choice of paint colors expands this year with the option to get black and gray in addition to the previously available colors.

While many SUVs claim capability, the Heritage Edition delivers on that front. The Heritage Edition comes standard with full-time all-wheel drive. The Land Cruiser also gives drivers the option of adjusting to changing conditions by using several different driving modes, including downhill assist, hill start assist, and CRAWL control. The Heritage Edition gets its impressive power from a 5.7L gasoline engine with a power output that reaches just above 380 HP and creates 400 LB-FT of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed electronically controlled transmission. A locking center differential and low-range gearing are additional mechanical highlights on the Heritage Edition. The Land Cruiser is capable of towing up to 8,5000 pounds.

Comfort, aesthetics, and convenience are also strong points of the 200 Series Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. A roof rack installed on the outside adds to its rugged good looks. The Land Cruiser also has an interior designed for modern needs with amenities that include standard wireless phone charging and an interactive touchscreen display that comes with Bluetooth, satellite radio, and navigation. The navigation system is also voice-controlled for safe and convenient operation. Leather seats, which are heated and ventilated in the front, are other notable Land Cruiser qualities. A push-button start and keyless entry complete its list of conveniences, while it also gets a bundle of safety technology including lane departure alert, dynamic radar cruise control, and pedestrian detection.
