2022 Corolla Trims & Features

Inside, seating material changes by trim level. The base trim, called the L, starts off with cloth upholstery, which changes to premium cloth with the second trim. The third trim, called the XSE, has plush simulated leather upholstery instead. The higher-end models get full leather upholstery, and the top trims have custom sporty seats. For technology, all trims have standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The first trim uses a 7-inch touchscreen display, while the others upgrade to a larger display screen. Navigation is added to the higher-end trims as well. The L has one USB charging port, while the LE and the higher-level trims get another charging port in the back seat. Keyless entry is standard on all but the base model, and nearly all trims have dual-zone climate control.

Powering the 2022 Toyota Corolla is your choice of two engines. The base engine has four cylinders and a power capacity of nearly 140 HP. This engine comes with an automatic transmission. The second engine is a 2.0L that gets nearly 170 HP and more than 150 LB-FT of torque. It also has Normal and Sport modes. A manual transmission with six speeds is available, and you can get paddle shifters on the steering wheel with the automatic transmission.
