2021 Toyota Sienna

What's New For the 2021 Toyota Sienna?

Just about everything is new for the Toyota Sienna in 2021, which has a daring new appearance, a refreshed cabin filled with technology and amenities, and a new hybrid powertrain that uses the same hybrid technology as some of Toyota's popular hybrid SUVs. With all the changes that it provides, the Sienna starts the fourth generation in 2021. It is offered in five trims as with the year before, with the option of getting captain's chairs on some of the higher-end trim levels. Many features are standard and available for the Sienna in 2021.

2021 Sienna Trims & Features

The 2021 Sienna family contains five distinct trims. The first trim in the lineup is the LE. The LE makes a memorable first impression with LED headlights in front. It also has side doors that open automatically. The cabin contains room for eight people and three-zone climate control. In case you need to block excess sunlight, you'll find that the sunshades in the second row come in handy. Device charging is easy across the cabin with seven USB ports to keep your devices plugged in.

Technology includes an infotainment system with a nine-inch display. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and smartphone pairing are standard. The base sound system is a six-speaker audio system. The second trim, called the XLE, adds a push-button start and keyless entry. It gets a sunroof and adds another level of climate control. The front seats are heated, and seating material upgrades to simulated leather. Wireless charging is available on this trim and added to the XSE, which also has a sportier black mesh grille.

The Limited trim includes sunshades in both back rows and has chrome roof rails. It also gets an upgraded sound system. Bi-LED lights are included in the Platinum, which also has rain-sensing windshield wipers. Premium leather seats and captain's chairs are standard.

2021 Toyota Sienna Horsepower

There is a new engine under the Sienna's hood this year. The 2021 Sienna replaces the previous V6 engine with a hybrid powertrain in 2021. This year's Sienna gets a gasoline engine that pairs with an electric motor. Together, they produce just under 250 HP. The standard drivetrain for the Toyota Sienna is front-wheel drive, while you can get all-wheel drive on any trim.

Toyota Sienna Safety

Comprehensive safety features are added to all Sienna trims. The Sienna has blind-spot monitors across the board, along with a lane-departure warning that warns if the vehicle starts to leave its lane. Forward collision avoidance is also standard.
