2021 GR Supra Comes With an Amazing Array of Features
Weighing slightly less than 3,200 pounds, the 2021 GR Supra 2.0 is nimble and agile on the road. A rear spoiler adds aerodynamic appeal to this base-level model. The 3.0 trim flaunts dual exhaust tips with brushed stainless steel accents. You can listen to music on the car's 10-speaker audio system that runs on the HiFi design. Additionally, this edition has a driver's seat that offers 14 different positions.
Featuring an indicator light, a wireless charging system is standard inside the 3.0 Premium. You'll also get an 8.8-inch touch screen with the Supra Command suite in this trim. Available for an additional charge, the Phantom color is only offered for the 3.0 Premium. Similarly, the GR Supra A91 Edition is sold in exclusive Nocturnal and Refraction colors. This is the only model on the lineup that has carbon fiber accessories.
How Much Power Does the GR Supra Have?
Installed by default under the hood of the 2021 GR Supra, the 2.0-liter engine produces 255 horsepower when working above 5,000 RPM. Capable of cranking out 295 pound-feet of torque, this turbocharged powertrain ensures a 5.0-second transition from 0 to 60 mph on paved surfaces. Also employing a turbocharger system with a twin-scroll layout, the 3.0-L engine kicks out just over 380 net hp.
Having an inline configuration, the six-cylinder propulsion system dishes out slightly under 370 lb-ft when revolving faster than 1,800 RPM. Both turbo engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that mimics manual-style shifting. Torque makes a smooth transition to the standard rear-wheel drive, which the Traction Mode further enhances. Having a track width of 1,850 mm, this Toyota sports car maintains a good grip on asphalt. Additionally, this lightweight model boasts the Launch Control for a rapid takeoff. Coming from the Michelin Pilot Super Sport series, 19-inch tires maximize traction on the track. Additionally, the 2021 GR Supra offers vented front disc rotors that measure 348 mm for enhanced durability. Coming from the legendary Brembo company, the braking system includes calipers with four-piston geometry.

The Safety & Technology Package is optional for the 2021 GR Supra 2.0 and 3.0 trims. Besides having accident-prevention features, this bundle includes the Supra Connected Services with remote access and security functions. Higher-level editions are available with the Driving Assist Package.
