What's New for the 2020 Toyota Supra?

In 2020, the Toyota Supra returns after a long hiatus. This triumphant return is embodied in three new Supra models, including a highly exclusive Launch Edition. All three sports cars offer something unique, but what they share in common is a beautiful exterior, ample performance capabilities, and awe-inspiring power.

From front to back, the 2020 Supra is characterized by one-of-a-kind signature amenities like jeweled LED headlights, a bubble-shaped roof, and a wide front grille that gives it a sporty and athletic appearance while simultaneously pulling cool air into the engine and helping to cool it down. Depending on the trim level you choose, your Supra will have a number of options and amenities.

2020 Supra Trims & Features

This year, there are three trim levels of the Toyota Supra available. The base model, called the 3.0, features a number of standard and optional amenities. You'll get a 6.5-inch infotainment system, a decent sound system, and sporty seats. There's also enough room for cargo in the back and a driver-oriented cockpit.

Progressing to the mid-tier trim level, however, brings even more upgrades including a larger 8.8-inch infotainment system, a 12-speaker sound system, and Apple CarPlay. You'll also get premium leather seats that are heated for pleasant wintertime driving. Both trim levels come with standard and optional colors like Nitro Yellow, which is offered for an additional cost.

The third trim level, called the Launch Edition, offers even more in the way of standard and available amenities. With this trim level, you'll have a choice of three custom colors. No matter which color you choose, the vehicle will come accented with matte black wheels, red mirror caps, and interior badges that show which trim level you're driving. If you want the Launch Edition, be sure to act soon, as there are only a limited number of vehicles (1,500 precisely) for sale.

The engine produces up to 335 HP and 365 LB-FT of torque. It accelerates from 0-60 in just 4.1 seconds, and it has a top speed of 155 MPH. The Supra has an eight-speed automatic transmission, an adaptive suspension system, and a more rigid chassis than you'll find in most cars. It also has premium sport tires that help it get a better grip on the road. With these powerful capabilities, the handling is as good as it looks.
