What's New For the 2020 Toyota Sequoia?
The 2020 Toyota Sequoia boasts exciting additions and changes that you'll want to see. For starters, the TRD Pro trim has been added to the lineup, which makes this SUV an excellent off-road vehicle, especially given its elevated suspension. There's also the improved infotainment system that has enhanced standard features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a mobile hotspot.

What Features are Available for 2020?
With the 2020 Toyota Sequoia, you can choose from five trim levels, including the SR5, TRD Pro, TRD Sport, Limited, and Platinum. The features that accompany the base model include cloth upholstery, a moonroof, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and tri-zone automatic climate control. You can also enjoy the upgraded infotainment system that has a good-sized touchscreen at 7 inches, satellite radio, Bluetooth, an 8-speaker audio system, 3 USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a WiFi hotspot. If you prefer leather upholstery, you'll want to choose the Limited model because it's standard at that trim level.
The Limited trim also has a second-row captain's chair and an audio system that's premium quality. The 2020 Sequoia has seating for eight people and seven people if you have a captain's chair. With plenty of leg and headroom, passengers will enjoy riding in the 2020 Sequoia, regardless of where they sit. Even if seated in the third row, there's plenty of room.
If you upgrade, available features include a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, heated captain's chairs, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable passenger seat and reclining third-row seats. The cargo space is 18.9 cubic feet, and that can be expanded to 120.1 cubic feet if you fold down the last two rows. If you only fold down the third row, the cargo space is 66.6 cubic feet.
2020 Sequoia Powertrain Options
All five of the trims available in the 2020 Sequoia include a 5.7-liter, V8 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and 381-horsepower. Rear-wheel drive is standard for each trim, except for the TRD Pro, which has 4-wheel drive. There is a 4-wheel drive option for all other models. For an SUV of this size, the 2020 Sequoia moves with exceptional ease on the highway and rough roads. The driver will feel a sense of control, and passengers will experience a smooth ride, which is partly because of the heavy-duty shocks, especially for the TRD models. Towing capacity for the 2020 Sequoia when properly equipped is approximately 7,400.
Packed with Safety Features
Toyota Safety Sense P technology is included in the 2020 Sequoia, and there are robust standard safety features, such as rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection and lane departure warning. When rollover tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2020 Sequoia ranked four out of five stars.
