What's New For the 2020 Toyota C-HR?

The Toyota C-HR does not get significant changes in the 2020 model year. However, it gets enough improvements and changes to keep consumers satisfied. The latest C-HR features a revised front end for a more stylish, modern, and attractive finish. Android Auto is available for the first time with the entertainment system, too. Satellite radio now comes standard across the board, providing riders with a more diverse audio selection than before.

The latest version of the C-HR also gets standard LED headlights for optimal safety, visibility, and a more distinctive appearance. While these features are new for the 2020 C-HR, some facets of the vehicle hasn't changed. It still stands out for its sporty handling, which makes it ideal for turning and maneuvering. The latest C-HR has a generous range of standard features, too, including a swath of safety tools. A dozen exterior colors, including a handful of two-tone color schemes, are available for a custom appearance.

What Are the Toyota C-HR Trims & Features?

This year's C-HR is available in three trim levels. The LE, which is the base, is equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The base trim also has dual-zone climate control with a pollen filtration system. Unique multi-reflector LED lights to help the LE stand out from the crowd. The mid-level trim is called the XLE. This trim level builds on the LE list of standard features. From the outside, it stands out with vortex-style 18-inch wheels and special puddle lights.

The XLE gets a convenient smart key system with a push-button start for convenience. While the LE comes standard with Toyota's Safety Sense package, the XLE adds rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring. The third trim level is the Limited. It has all the same features as the XLE and more. With this trim, you'll get turbine-style 18-inch alloy wheels. The exterior also stands out with high-performance bold LED fog lights and LED projector-style headlights with auto-level control.

This trim is also equipped with adaptive front lighting. Inside, the cabin is made more comfortable with heated leather-trimmed seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat that has lumbar support and sport bolsters for maximum comfort. Along with the standard features, each trim level gets a set of packages and add-on amenities, as well.

Raw Power and Stellar Performance

All three trim levels of the 2020 C-HR are powered by the same engine, which is a 2.0L engine with four cylinders and 16 valves. This engine's top power output is 144 HP at 6,100 RPM. It also generates up to 139 LB-FT of torque at 3,900 RPM. The engine has a direct fuel-injection system. The transmission attached to the engine is a continuously variable automatic with a shift mode that allows drivers to switch between various driving modes. Front-wheel drive is standard.

The 2020 C-HR Has a Long List of Safety Features

The 2020 C-HR is equipped with an abundance of safety features. The base trim has the Toyota Safety Sense package with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, and dynamic radar cruise control. A backup camera and ten airbags are other highlights. All trims also get the Star Safety System with traction control and vehicle stability control.
