A Customer’s Story of Outstanding Service

Good day to whenever you may read this. I wanted you to be aware of some matters at your dealership. To begin with, in the realm of sales and customer retention, today’s action by your parts personnel Mr. Dillon Zuercher is and was an experience I almost never saw from anyone! 
 
This all began by finding my 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5 had been vandalized by someone whilst I was at the Walmart in Castroville. I had approached by vehicle on the way to the gym this morning @05:30 on noted the deliberate fracture of the right taillight on my vehicle. ARGH!!! My wife and I then went on to AMAZON to find a replacement unit and we could not confirm the parts would have fit. So, to this end, I had called NPT and spoke with the person noted for which he had noted he had had the part in stock to fit the right-side passenger on my vehicle.  
 
As we do live in Natalia this is a 22-mile trip each time we have our truck serviced by NPT, so this is not the hop, skip nor jump to come to NPT. My wife and I travelled to purchase the part and it was there waiting for us. We completed the purchase and to my own fault, I failed to open the box to verify the correct part had been purchased.  Again, this is my fault, and I am sorry.  To continue,  I returned home and began to install the taillight only to discover that the left side had been ordered and purchased. Though annoyed, I calmly called “Dillon” back to tell him that this was the wrong part, and I was in need of the right-side and NOT the left side taillight.  Dillon went on to do some research and found the correct passenger side taillight at Cavendar Toyota and was going to travel to this place to acquire the correct part. Through a few subsequent con-versations, my wife, Dillon, and myself were able to determine that the label and code on the box had the item identified as the LH and not the RH taillight lens.  I then had become mildly exasperated at myself for failure to verify and I noted to Dillon that I have to travel another 22 miles to get the correct part.  This was when Dillon noted he had found the correct part from NPT and he himself would take his personal lunch hour and deliver the item to us.  He met my wife and I at the LOVE”S in Natalia and IH 35 South at about 12:30 and we verified this was the correct part.  For his herculean effort, I compensated him for this undertaking and to aid him during this lunch hour.  
 
All things being said and done, I had almost bought my 2023 Tacoma from CT, but I had no appreciation as to the manner I was treated by the sales staff.  To continue, my sister had purchased her RAV4 from NPT and was elated at the level of service from both the sales and service personnel as well.  So, I then had come to NPT and I will tell you all this much. I had looked at a Chevrolet Colorado prior to the Toyota and with what had occurred today from Mr. Dillon Zuercher, like the phrase states “service is remembered long after the sale has concluded” is so true.  Just imagine my surprise and shock from the level of service afforded to my NPT!!!!!!!!!!!  I will not deal with any other TOYOTA dealership except for NPT.  
 
Please convey these thoughts to your regional and national customer centers, NPT goes the extra mile when a customer counts and a caring dealer tries to minimize the rile. 
Finally, the part fit and I tested all the functions and it was working perfectly.  Moreover, please feel free to share this and involve my wife and I should this help to keep the level of service so top notch.
