Toyota Warranty

Although Toyota is known for making reliable cars, its comprehensive warranty coverage plans will give you additional peace of mind when you buy your new vehicle. Toyota has a series of standard warranty plans that apply to new gasoline-powered and hybrid models. A warranty provides financial protection in case of a malfunction or defect that affects various parts and components. New Vehicle Warranty

This limited warranty covers the cost of components and parts that break or malfunction due to defects in material or workmanship. This basic coverage package lasts up to 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty does not include coverage for parts that wear out due to normal everyday wear and tear. 

Powertrain Warranty

The Powertrain Warranty covers the cost of repairing or replacing defective powertrain system components for 60 months or up to 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Parts covered include the engine, transaxle, and transmission. Seat belts and airbags are also covered by this limited warranty.

Emissions Coverage

Emissions coverage is another standard warranty provided by Toyota. Coverage will differ depending on your vehicle and where you live, so please consult your warranty and vehicle maintenance guide for complete details.  

Rust-Through Warranty

This Toyota warranty applies to corrosion that perforates the sheet metal. The Rust-Through Warranty covers your car for up to 60 months regardless of miles driven.

Toyota Hybrid Warranty

This warranty covers the components in your hybrid's mechanical system, including the battery and battery control nodule. Hybrid batteries are covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first. For more specific information, please contact North Park Toyota for further details.
