2022 Toyota Highlander Exterior

What's New for the 2022 Toyota Highlander?

Upper trims have been upgraded with an eight-way power passenger seat.

Highlander Trims & Features

The 2022 Toyota Highlander is offered in six trim levels. Drivers who're looking to save money will love the value-packed L trim. Its user-friendly infotainment system features an 8.0-inch touchscreen. Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are all built into the unit. Everyone in your family can enjoy the SUV's mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Other great features include tri-zone automatic climate control, five USB ports, and a Smart Key System with push-button start.

Drivers who desire more extras can step up to the LE trim. It brings a height-adjustable power liftgate, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a blind-spot monitor.

Another notch up the trim ladder is the plusher Highlander XLE. While SofTex upholstery gives its cabin a more upscale character, heated front seats warm you up during the winter. A 7.0-inch multi-information display is integrated into the gauge cluster. Other goodies include a power sunroof, Qi wireless charging, and second-row captain's chairs.

The Highlander XSE is the most aggressive-looking trim. Aside from receiving sportier styling cues, it also adds a sport-tuned suspension for more athletic handling. Ambient lighting is found on the inside.

The leather-appointed Limited trim further elevates the level of luxuriousness. Its ventilated front seats make summer road trips more relaxing. Music fans will love the 1,200-watt JBL audio system's compelling sound. A few of the other niceties consist of a hands-free liftgate, a heated steering wheel, and Dynamic Navigation.

Atop the Highlander range sits the high-end Platinum trim. While its head-up display helps drivers keep their eyes on the road, a Bird's Eye View Camera makes the SUV easier to maneuver in crowded parking areas. A massive 12.3-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and a digital rearview mirror also come equipped on the Highlander Platinum.
