The 2019 Toyota Yaris features an updated exterior design that makes it beautiful and more appealing to buyers. The new L and LE trim levels feature a sporty design for the front end, with a chrome-tipped exhaust, and shark fin antenna. The model is available as either a sedan or a hatchback and whichever you choose will not disappoint you. The XLE trim is for people who want more from the new Toyota Yaris, and it offers a variety of advanced comfort features that make it worth spending the extra cash on it.
The new Toyota Yaris sedan will have four-doors just like the Yaris hatchback. The base trim has 16-inch alloy wheels while there is a dark gunmetal finish for the higher trim levels. Other standard features for the base L trim level are a 7.0 LCD touchscreen, a push-button start, a cruise control, power external mirrors, and a 60/40 rear seat split. LED turn-signal indicators and power outside heated mirrors are also standard for the higher LE and XLE trim levels. The LE and XLE trims have an upgraded rear lip spoiler that gives it an appealing finish. The more luxurious trim XLE offers comfort features like leather upholstery, a shift knob, a parking brake, rain-sensing wipers, auto LED headlights, an integrated automatic climate control, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and illuminated entry.
The 2019 Toyota Yaris comes equipped with a 1.5 L four-cylinder engine that was used in the 2018 model that is capable of 106 horsepower and a torque of 103 pound-feet. The engine is coupled with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The fuel economies of the model are not yet out although the model is expected to achieve a combined EPA of 35 mpg for automatic transmission and a combined 34mpg for the manual transmission. This means that the model will offer better fuel economy as compared to other models of the same class.
The 2019 Toyota Yaris builds on the safety and driver assist technologies that were available on the 2018 Toyota Yaris. The 2019 Yaris features a low-speed forward collision warning with an integrated auto emergency braking system, a backup camera, and rear disc brakes as standard features. All the trim levels of the 2019 Toyota Yaris feature the Toyota's Active Safety System as standard, and it includes features like antilock brakes, dynamic stability control, and brake assistance.
