A Variety of Fun and Functional Features

The 2017 Yaris comes in two body styles (a two-door hatchback and a four-door hatch), as well as three available trim levels, depending on the body style you choose: L and LE (both bodies) and L, LE and SE (four-door). The new Yaris iA, based on the former Scion model, is also available, providing a sporty version of the standard Yaris.

The base Yaris L starts things off with standard features, including 15-inch steel wheels, a six-speaker sound system with HD radio, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, Bluetooth connectivity, a 6.1-inch touchscreen and automatic headlights.

The mid-level Yaris LE adds alloy wheels and remote locking and unlocking to the hatchback, as well as steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, an enriched interior trim and power side mirrors.

Finally, the range-topping Yaris SE is the trim most recommended by 2017 Toyota Yaris reviews, thanks to its bevy of deluxe amenities, such as larger alloy wheels, foglights, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, projector-beam headlights, unique exterior styling and upgraded cloth seating.

A Spunky Powertrain

Under the hood of the 2017 Toyota Yaris in San Antonio is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 106 horses and 103 lb.-ft. of torque. Base two-door models, as well as the four-door SE, come standard with a five-speed manual gearbox, while a four-speed automatic transmission is standard on all other models and trims. Standard manual models can substitute the stick-shift for the automatic if they choose.

Top-Notch Safety

As we mentioned above, the 2017 Yaris now comes standard with Toyota's new Safety Sense suite, which includes such advanced safety equipment as forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and automatic high-beam control. This is on top of the many other standard safety features on the Yaris, which you can learn more about when you take this popular small hatchback for a test drive at North Park Toyota today!
