2018 Toyota Camry

Headed to San Antonio later this summer, the eighth generation Camry will arrive with some of the hottest tech on the market. Learn more about the sedan’s top new features below!

Bird’s Eye View Monitor— Available on select trims, this system is comprised of four high-resolution cameras, which are mounted on the front, rear and sides of the vehicle. During low-speed driving maneuvers, such as backing up, the cameras will activate, giving the driver a bird’s eye view of the vehicle’s surroundings.

Entune 3.0— The Camry will debut with the most up-to-date version of Entune infotainment, which includes a variety of new features such as:

  • Remote Connect – This feature allows drivers to lock/unlock the vehicle, start/stop the engine and set parameters all from their smartphone
  • Safety Connect – With the push of a button, drivers will be connected to a live operator that can call for help in an emergency or provide navigation assistance
  • Service Connect – When enabled, this feature provides diagnostic updates, such as vehicle conditions or fuel levels, to the driver
  • Wi-Fi Hotspot – Opt for a low-cost data plan, and your Camry can convert into a traveling hotspot that allows for up to five connected devices at once.

Intelligent Clearance Sonar— With this available feature, you’ll never have to worry about accidentally backing up into another vehicle! This system utilizes eight sensors throughout the front and rear of the vehicle, which can detect nearby objects and send an audible warning to the driver if they get too close. If the driver fails to respond, the system can also automatically brake to avoid a collision.

JBL with Clari-Fi— Models equipped with Entune 3.0 Audio Plus or Entune 3.0 Premium Audio will receive an upgraded JBL with Clari-Fi sound system. Comprised of nine speakers and a power amplifier, passengers will enjoy a studio-like atmosphere with crisp, clear sound.

Voice Recognition— New and improved for 2018, the Camry’s voice recognition system has an increased understanding of commands and questions, and is able to store previous requests in order to learn and better assist users in the future.
